I just finished a portrait of adorable Monty of thecuriouspug.com. This is my interpretation of him, it was done with graphite.



I always find drawing animals to be one of the most relaxing things I get to do. Their expressions always seem focused and calm. Even when they are energetic and fixated they have an over all peace in their eyes.

The photo I took of the portrait is not wonderful, not the greatest lighting today.

As for the rest of the day I have more drawing to complete and my "belly dancing meditation" class later this evening, very excited.
